Job Description
Oracle Database Administrator
REQUIRED SKILLS:
7-10 years of related work experience
Advanced experience supporting Exadata.
Strong experience with performance tuning and supporting ASM, Data Guard
Experience applying Oracle security patches.
Develop scripts to automate routine activities, including health checks, backups, and monitoring.
Advanced Engineering knowledge on Exadata and Oracle DB related problems
General understanding of the underlying operating system, e.g. Windows, Unix, Linux
General understanding of storage technologies, memory management, disk arrays, NAS/SAN, networking
General understanding of routine maintenance, recovery, and handling failover of a Database
Prior experience working with Oracle EBS or any Oracle Application is a Plus.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Agile environment experience is a plus.
Any working experience with DevOps Tools a plus.
Stronger experience working with Oracle EBS or any Oracle Applications is a Plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, deploy, and manage Oracle databases to provide security, high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability to support mission critical systems.
Apply quarterly Oracle security patches.
Assist with capacity planning, configurations, and complete setup.
Develop scripts to automate routine activities, including health checks, backups, and monitoring.
Advanced Engineering support on Exadata and Oracle DB related problems
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
