Job Description

Position Description and Role:

  • The candidate is expected to serve as the liaison between the business and the engineering team
  • Facilitate key scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Retrospective, Sprint Review
  • Closely work with Product owner to aid establish actionable product backlog
  • Eliminates impediments by actively addressing issues so the team can remain focused on achieving the commitments / goals of the sprint
  • Track progress, identify and act on the opportunities for continuous improvement 
  • Provides overall guidance for team to adhere to Agile principles and practices.
  • Help engage new product features and enhancements in terms of scope, quality, and schedule within sprint cycles.
  • Works across stakeholders and team to continuously improve. Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity. Facilitates the sprint review and demo sprint retrospective. Captures and distributes feedback.
  • Provide regular and open communication across the program to all stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments
  • Possesses conflict resolution, does conversation by focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty and respect.
  • Should be a friendly communicative person, because when team is moving fast in Agile, communication is the effective force which holds the team together.
  • Needs to forecast the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration, which is based on evidence and reliable source.
  • Ability to shield his team from outside distractions and interferences
