Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure and upgrade database software and related products.
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
- Provide consultation and troubleshooting for the development team.
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures in conjunction with the system administrators.
- Set up and maintain database documentation and standards.
- Interface with database vendors for technical support.
- Implement and maintain database security.
- Perform Database Patch Management and Version Control.
PROFILE
- SQL Server Database Administration or MySQL Database Administration
- Desire to learn and grow your skill set (Linux, DB2, Terradata, Informatica, Sybase etc..)
- Linux is a plus
